Steps

Combine beans, chicken, green chiles, broth, and all spices in a large pot2
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, cook 15 minutes3
Remove about 1 cup of beans and mash them, return to pot for thickness4
Add cubed cream cheese and stir over low heat until fully melted5
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream6
Taste and season with salt and white pepper7
