6 strips thick-cut bacon, slicedAmazon ↗
1.5 lbs lean ground beefAmazon ↗
1 can kidney beansAmazon ↗

28 oz fire-roasted crushed tomatoesAmazon ↗

Beef broth as neededAmazon ↗
Steps

Render bacon in a large Dutch oven until crispy, remove with slotted spoon

Brown ground beef in the bacon fat, drain excess

Cook onion and garlic in same pot until soft
4
Add all spices and stir to coat

Pour in fire-roasted tomatoes and a splash of broth if needed

Simmer 45 minutes, taste and adjust
7
Add all three cans of beans and bacon, simmer 20 more minutes
