Ingredients
2 lbs ground beefAmazon ↗
1 large onion, dicedAmazon ↗
4 garlic clovesAmazon ↗
2 tbsp chili powderAmazon ↗
1 tsp cuminAmazon ↗
1/4 tsp cinnamonAmazon ↗
2 tbsp cocoa powderAmazon ↗
1 oz dark chocolate, choppedAmazon ↗
2 tbsp peanut butterAmazon ↗
28 oz canned tomatoesAmazon ↗
1 can kidney beansAmazon ↗

Steps

Brown ground beef in a large pot, remove and set aside

Cook onion and garlic in same pot until softened
3
Add chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, cocoa and stir to coat

Return beef to pot, pour in tomatoes and 1/2 cup water

Simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally
6
Stir in dark chocolate and peanut butter until melted and smooth
7
Add kidney beans, simmer 15 more minutes and serve
